Common questions
My furnace clicks but will not light. What is wrong?
Usually the ignitor or the flame sensor. Both are quick repairs. Occasionally it is the gas valve or a safety switch.
Why does my heat pump blow cool air in winter?
Heat pump air feels cooler than furnace air even when it is working correctly. If the house is not warming up, the outdoor unit may be iced over, low on refrigerant, or stuck in defrost. We can check it.
Is it safe to run a furnace that smells like gas?
No. Turn it off, leave the house, and call the gas company or us from outside.
Can you repair propane furnaces?
